Description
Treatments for the purpose of caring for and enhancing nails.
The main aim of the ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Nail Technology is to enable candidates to provide treatments for the purpose of caring for and enhancing nails and to provide skills at Level 3 in the National Qualification Framework for those interested in the Beauty Therapy industry.
Aims and objectives
The ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Nail Technology comprises of ITEC units:
• Unit 11 Manicure & Pedicure
• Unit 20 Nail Technology
• Unit 22 Professional Conduct & Business Awareness
Entry Requirement
Course participants should at least be 16 years of age and must possess the following requirements as follows:
Complete Secondary 4 Education and obtained a pass in English or Chinese language for the 'N' Level
AND Singaporean or PR/Work Permit/ Long Term Visit Pass(Dependent Pass)
Graduation Requirement
Student must obtain a ‘Pass’ in the ITEC examinations with at least 75% attendance.
Training Hours
Classroom Duration – 215 Hours
Duration of Course
a) Full-Time – 1.5 months
b) Part-Time – 4.5 months

Obtain minimum grade 5 for GCE 'N' Level English or Chinese Language
Certificate Conferring Body
Upon completion of the course, students will be awarded the Level 3 Diploma in Nail Technology by International Therapy Examination Council (ITEC).

*Fees can be paid in monthly installment.
Assessment Method
Assessment is conducted through a combination of practical and theoretical examinations. All assessments are set and assessed by VTCT (ITEC) in accordance with awarding body requirements.
Course Schedule
Course commencement dates are scheduled throughout the year and will be confirmed upon enrolment. Course end date will be based on the selected full-time or part-time schedule.
Industrial Attachment
This course does not include any industrial attachment component.

The average teacher-student ratio for this course is approximately 1:14, depending on class size and scheduling.
