Description

 

The foundation course for complementary therapy. The course provides students with a thorough understanding of anatomy and physiology of the body so that they have a complete knowledge of the structure and functions of each area on which they are working. The course includes holistic massage incorporating the classical movements treating the whole body.

 

The main aim of the ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Holistic Massage is to enable candidates to provide treatments for the purposes of relaxation and stress release and to provide skills at Level 3 in the National Qualification Framework for those interested in the Complementary Therapy/Care industry

 

Aims and objectives

 

The ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Holistic Massage comprises of ITEC units:

 

• Unit 30-40 Anatomy and Physiology

 

• Unit 2 Holistic Massage

 

• Unit 22 Professional Conduct and Business Awareness

 

 

Entry Requirement

 

Course participants should at least be 16 years of age and must possess the following requirements as follows:

 

Complete Secondary 4 Education and obtained a pass in English or Chinese language for the 'N' Level

AND Singaporean or PR/Work Permit/ Long Term Visit Pass(Dependent Pass)

 

Graduation Requirement

 

Student must obtain a ‘Pass’ in the ITEC examinations with at least 90% attendance.

 

Training Hours

 

Classroom Duration – 250 Hours

 

Duration of Course

 

a) Full-Time – 1.5 months

b) Part-Time  3.5 months

Obtain minimum grade 5 for GCE 'N' Level English or Chinese Language

 

Certificate Conferring Body

 

Upon completion of the course, students will be awarded the Level 3 Diploma in Holistic Massage by International Therapy Examination Council (ITEC).

*Exam Fees – S$380 

 

*Admission Fees – S$70

 

*Fees can be paid in monthly installment.
